COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION:

The Communications Division handles all incoming calls for service, including 911 Emergency and Cellular calls for fire, law enforcement, and emergency medical service for the entire County, as-well-as routine calls for police or other related services. During the year 2004, this division received 18,361 calls for service. This Division also monitors various alarms, dispatches all Sheriff's Units, Village Police, Township Fire and EMS Units. The division constantly monitors the Noah Weather Radio and activates alert sirens for the entire county, as-well-as the City of Circleville in the event of threatening conditions. The Communications Division is the heart of the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office and many times the first contact citizens have with the Sheriff's Office.
