The
Civil Division of the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office
conducts appraisals and Sheriff's Sales as directed by
the courts. The division also handles all impounded and
court ordered immobilized vehicles, as-well-as Foreign
Executions and Writs of Possession, as ordered by the
local or foreign courts. As a result of orders from the
court, the Civil Division processed and conducted 195
order of sales & foreclosure actions. The Civil Division
also prepared and served 3,930 papers for civil process
in 2004. |
Bethany Minzler
is our Civil Clerk. She works at the direction of Sheriff
Radcliff, with Lt. Wears and appraisers pertaining to
court orders to accomplish civil process against property.
These tasks involve very complicated operations of law.
She must work closely with the courts, attorneys, and
financial institutions on "Sheriff’s
Sales". Bethany also prepares and makes return to the
Courts on other legal process, such as subpoenas, Protection
Orders, and domestic court papers. Beathany is responsible
to keep ledgers, enter records of Sheriff’s sales
and other legal process into our computer system, and
provides assistance Lt. Radcliff, our financial officer. |
Deputy Jack D. Middaugh is the Administrative Aid to the Sheriff. |
