… WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST TUESDAY…

A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EST TUESDAY.

OCCASIONAL SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT. ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO AN INCH CAN BE EXPECTED… BRINGING STORM TOTALS TO 6 TO 10 INCHES BY EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. IN ADDITION TO THE SNOW… WEST WINDS WILL OCCASIONALLY GUST UP TO 30 MPH TONIGHT. THIS WILL LEAD TO AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW… WHICH WILL MAINTAIN DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS THROUGH THE NIGHT.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL… KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT… FOOD… AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
