City Information: Pickaway County is located in southern Ohio immediately south of Franklin County and Columbus. The county is comprised of 506.55 square miles and maintains 827.62 miles of roadways including one Interstate, three U.S. highways, and eleven state highways. The county population is approximately 56,000. The county consists of one city, Circleville (county seat) which maintains a full time police force, nine villages, three of which maintain full or part time law enforcement personnel. Circleville is home to the world famous Pumpkin Show hosted each October. There are two state parks within the county A.W. Marion and Deer Creek, one metro park, Slate Run and one ODNR nature preserve, Stages Pond. Population: 56,000
