PROJECT LIFESAVER

The Local Project Lifesaver Program was established in January of 2008, as a joint partnership between the Pickaway County Commission on Aging and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.Through the efforts of Sue Frey, Executive Director of the Pickaway County Senior Center and supported by Sheriff Dwight E. Radcliff a partnership was established.

SENTRYKIDS CHILD ID

The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office offers (Identification Cards) for the families of Pickaway County. This program is a free service we offer to help better serve and protect our loved ones.Get an ID of your child to have on hand to produce to local authorities in a unfortunate event of a child that may become missing.

D.A.R.E. PROGRAM

The Pickaway county D.A.R.E. (Drug abuse resistance education) program was established in August of 1990. ” At that time the program was 17 weeks long and was taught in the 6th grade in all four school” districts in Pickaway County.The D.A.R.E. officer at that time was Harold Hopkins, who along with Sheriff Dwight Radcliff, and former County Commissioner Ruth Neff, established funding for the program and set up contracts with the schools to get the D.A.R.E. program started.
