C.C.W. Applications can be picked up here at the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office at 600 Island Road Circleville Ohio, 43113, or you can obtain an application by clicking on the link provided here. The online printable application is in PDF format. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view and print the application.

In Order to apply for a C.C.W. permit, you must have an appointment. Monday & Wednesday 9a.m. – 3p.m. are the available times and days for an appointment. Note that appointment times may vary depending on waiting list for obtaining a C.C.W.

What’s Needed:

The following are required during application process

Valid Ohio driver’s license

Firearm Training Certificates (dated within the last 6 yrs)

Must be 21 years old to apply

Must be an Ohio resident for minimum of 45 days and Pickaway County or adjoining county resident for minimum of 30 days

Completed application (applications are available during regular business hours at the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office or on the Ohio Attorney Generals website, click here). Required Photo will be taken by Sheriff’s office personnel.

Falsifying of a CCW application may result in prosecution for falsification, a felony of the Fourth Degree
