Cinco de Mayo is becoming a popular holiday. If you do not know what Cinco de Mayo means, it is a celebration of the 5th of May and commemorates Mexican American Heritage and Pride. Although it is often celebrated in the western United States, the Holiday is sometimes celebrated locally and in nearby cities. It often includes great food, fun, and alcohol. Even if you do not celebrate Cinco de Mayo, you can help in the safety efforts of law enforcement during this and the many other Holidays we celebrate by calling 9-1-1 if you suspect someone is driving impaired. “Buzzed Driving IS Drunk Driving”. A simple call can make a huge difference, and may just save a life.
